About the building
The Globe Theatre depicts the Tudor playhouse where Shakespeare put into work his creative genius. At that time, women weren't allowed in theatres as it was considered almost a sin. The Globe has the only thatched roof in London as due to fire protection laws it's nowadays forbidden.
About the artist
Virginia Duran is an architect and urban planner from Madrid, Spain. Her profession as an architect and her passion for art remain inextricably entwined. As a result, her primary interest within art is space and its relationship to people.
