About the building

The New River is the greatest improvement undertaken in London between the 16th century Reformation and The Great Fire of 1666. The New River Walk, a long-distance footpath that follows the course of this aqueduct (still 8% of London’s water supply), is the result of this clever intervention.

About the artist

Virginia Duran is an architect and urban planner from Madrid, Spain. Her profession as an architect and her passion for art remain inextricably entwined. As a result, her primary interest within art is space and its relationship to people.
