About the building
Isokon Building – named after the Isometric Unit Construction – was an experimental development. After its completion in 1934, it quickly became an extraordinary centre for intellectual life attracting prodigies such as Walter Gropius, Marcel Breuer, László Moholy-Nagy and Agatha Christie, who lived here.
About the artist
Virginia Duran is an architect and urban planner from Madrid, Spain. Her profession as an architect and her passion for art remain inextricably entwined. As a result, her primary interest within art is space and its relationship to people.
