About the building
The fabulous Electric Cinema opened its doors on February 1911, making it one of London's oldest cinemas. In 2001, the embellished cinema inaugurated its premises after intense refurbishment restoring its former grandeur.
About the artist
Virginia Duran is an architect and urban planner from Madrid, Spain. Her profession as an architect and her passion for art remain inextricably entwined. As a result, her primary interest within art is space and its relationship to people.
