About the building
Strata Tower, also affectionately known as ‘The Razor’, is the first contemporary building around Elephant & Castle in years. It was one of the world’s first buildings to incorporate wind turbines as part of its structure. The three expensive turbomachines that crown the tower were designed to produce 8% of the building’s energy needs – an impressive proportion.
